Get Started:

1

Open your new First Bank of Owasso account. Visit any of our locations or open an account online.

2

Stop using your old account. Allow any outstanding checks and card transactions to clear, then destroy any unused checks, deposit slips and debit cards.

3

Get organized: Gather the last three months of statements from the accounts you plan to close, then use our convenient Worksheet to list the direct deposits, automatic payments, and bill pay items you’d like to transfer to your new First Bank of Owasso account.

4

Transfer your Direct Deposits: Complete the Direct Deposit Enrollment Form and send it* to any employer, government agency, retirement provider, or other income source listed on the Direct Deposit section of your worksheet.

5

Transfer your automatic payments and withdrawals: Complete the Automatic Payment/Withdrawal Switch Form and send it* to any individuals or businesses listed on the Automatic Payment/Withdrawal section of your worksheet.

6

Set Up Online Bill Pay for your new account: Use the Online Bill Pay section of the Worksheet to view which one-time or recurring online bill payments you need to set-up on your new First Bank of Owasso Online Bill Pay.

7

Close your old account: After confirming that all outstanding payments have cleared your old account – and that all direct deposits and automatic payments have begun processing through your new First Bank of Owasso account – send the Account Closure letter to your previous financial institution*.

*Please note that some organizations – such as the Social Security Administration – may require additional forms. Contact each company or income source to ensure no extra steps are needed.

These worksheets are intended to help collect account information in one place for your personal use. For security reasons, you should transmit your completed forms only through safe and trusted methods. Account numbers and other sensitive financial information should always be securely maintained.
