Mortgage

A house is one of the biggest investments you will ever make, so it's important that everything associated with your lending needs be handled personally and professionally. We understand, and we're here to help.

Complete an application today!

You can start the application process today by completing our secure, online information form. Once you complete the form, we will mail you a loan application to complete and return, or you can stop by our main location and complete the process in person.

Once we receive your completed application, we'll review all of the information in your request and a loan officer will contact you to personally work with you and answer your questions. A formal packet will be provided to you with documents for you to sign and a list of required items that are necessary to verify the information about your finances you provided on the loan application, and to begin processing your loan.

Once you are approved we'll begin processing your loan request and it is at this time that we may request a deposit to cover the cost of the appraisal and credit report.

We'll order the appraisal from a local licensed appraiser who is familiar with home values in your area. Depending on your finances and the loan amount requested, different types of appraisals are used. Sometimes the appraiser will need to view the home; sometimes they are able to do their evaluation from the street.

If you are purchasing a home, title insurance will be necessary, and we'll work with the Real Estate Broker or seller to insure the title work is ordered as soon as possible. If you are refinancing, we'll take care of ordering the title work for you. We'll use the title insurance policy to confirm the legal status of your property and to prepare the closing documents.

Attend the closing!

After we receive your application kit, the appraisal, and the title work, we'll contact you to schedule your loan closing. If you are purchasing a home, we'll also schedule the closing with the real estate broker and the seller.

The closing will take place at the office of a title company or at our offices. A few days before closing your loan officer will contact you to walk through the final information.
